George is situated in the famous Garden Route of South Africa and forms the ideal base to explore and experience the Garden Route with all its splendour and beauty. It is the capital city of the Garden Route region of the Western Cape Province.

Flanked on the southern side by the sea and on the northern side by the majestic Outeniqua mountains, it is one of the more beautiful cities in the country. Because of this, it is one of South Africas most popular holiday destinations.
